Beybi Plastik has a long record of manufacturing work safety gloves, examinaton gloves, medical consumables and household protection products since 1948.
Beybi accomodates Turkey’s first and only vinyl gloves production facility (45,000m2) in Bursa. Istanbul facility (30,000m2) is mostly dedicated to polyester and cotton based gloves. Beybi Products acquired TSE Compliance in 1987 and TS EN ISO 9002 in 1996, by being the first and only company who is eligible to maintain these titles in its own line of business.
With a personelle of exceeding 1000, Beybi has became a world-class contender by holding certificates of ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, ISO 10002 Client Satisfaction Management, IS 27001 Information Security Management, ISO 13485 Medical Devices Management, ISO 50001 Energy Management an ISO 45001 Work Health & Safety Management Systems. The material of a glove is comprised of either polyester or cotton. Work Safety gloves are manufactured by dipping a regular woven glove into a special nitrile solution to be coated. This coating can be upto fingers only (palm included) or can cover the whole back-hand area. Once the nitrile coating is cured, the gloves turns into an equipment durable to specific Mechanical Risks.
EN388:2016 is the European standard developed for evaluating mechanical risks, including; Abrasion, Cut, Tear, Puncture, Cut (TDM) and Impact. The tests are run under accredited labs.
* Only Cut Resistance is between 1 and 5, others’ range are between 1 and 4. In 2016 two new parameters are added for Cut TDM ( F being the max) and Impact Resistance ( X- not tested, F-failed, P-passed ).
